The Ballaholics is a group of talented rappers hailing out of Jackson Mississippi. With a few of the members experiencing hardships early in life they turned to music as an outlet. Right now they have close to 300 spins a week on the radio. Registered on Media Base and BDS the Ballaholics are steady climbing up the southern charts for best southern single in the state of Mississippi titled "Do the Airman." The Airman has the kids going crazy to the point to where the kids are on youtube doing their own rendition dance to the song.

Every teenager in the state of Mississippi and all through out the South East are going crazy over the group. Currently they are already in talks with several major labels and they are already getting paid shows. It just goes to show you can grind and reap the benefits. Bump J Arrested For Armed Bank Robbery.

Police in Carbondale, Ill arrested Chicago-based rapper Bump J at a routine traffic stop earlier this week and federal authorities then charged him with a 2007 bank robbery, according to an FBI release obtained by the STING wire.The release said that the rapper was being held because he is a suspect in the Chase Bank robbery that took place on January 4, 2007 at 800 W. Madison St. in Oak Park Illinois.The Chicago FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force issued a nationwide manhunt for Bump J, whose real name is Terrance Boykin, in September of 2008 when a federal grand jury indicted him on counts of bank robbery and firearm violations.Authorities have yet to charge anyone else but the release and witness accounts claim that two men robbed the bank at gunpoint. It’s reported that they got off with over $100,000 from bank draws and the vault, respectively. The bank’s surveillance cameras caught the robbery on tape.Currently being held without bond by the Carbondale P.D., Bump J will soon be transferred to Chicago where he’ll be formally charged and locked up in the Metropolitan Correctional Center. He faces a 20-year prison sentence if convicted. -Michael Cohen

DJ E-V Runs Ohio (mixtape)

Dead ass real, DJ E-V does his mixtape thing. From the cover work to the mixing to the concept to the overall presentation he's on his game. Not only that he's got T-Shirts made up for mixtape. How many of you can say you've done that? I'd tell you to take notes but that would mean you have to pay attention and well we know how that goes in 2008.
Music wise this isn't your typical "hip hop" mixtape. It's just good music and if you know anything about Rapmullet you know we're all about good music. From Kanye's "Lovedown" LMFAO remix to the Kick Drums laced mix of "Thuggish Ruggish" by Bone there's something for everyone. The thing that got me hooked is the energy. I love the energy of the project. It's got that club/elctro vibe going on but it's cool. I mean if you looking to thug it out or go rob a cat this is not your theme music. If you looking to feel good tho this is the wheel. The DJ Won and E-V mix of "A Ohio-Milli" is CRAZY! Cats reppin' for their state like no other. If you ain't up on Chip Tha Ripper by now slap yourself. "Justice Freestyle" is far from lyrical gymnastics but this cat has mass appeal potential. Major props for E-V having that internet home base: www.djev.com. DJs today so busy trying to move units and get promotion yet don't have a home base for the real fans to go to. Add to the fact he's planning to have real tangible goods for sale outside of just a CD he's already winning for the simple fact he "gets" it.
