Dead ass real, DJ E-V does his mixtape thing. From the cover work to the mixing to the concept to the overall presentation he's on his game. Not only that he's got T-Shirts made up for mixtape. How many of you can say you've done that? I'd tell you to take notes but that would mean you have to pay attention and well we know how that goes in 2008.Music wise this isn't your typical "hip hop" mixtape. It's just good music and if you know anything about Rapmullet you know we're all about good music. From Kanye's "Lovedown" LMFAO remix to the Kick Drums laced mix of "Thuggish Ruggish" by Bone there's something for everyone. The thing that got me hooked is the energy. I love the energy of the project. It's got that club/elctro vibe going on but it's cool. I mean if you looking to thug it out or go rob a cat this is not your theme music. If you looking to feel good tho this is the wheel. The DJ Won and E-V mix of "A Ohio-Milli" is CRAZY! Cats reppin' for their state like no other. If you ain't up on Chip Tha Ripper by now slap yourself. "Justice Freestyle" is far from lyrical gymnastics but this cat has mass appeal potential. Major props for E-V having that internet home base: www.djev.com. DJs today so busy trying to move units and get promotion yet don't have a home base for the real fans to go to. Add to the fact he's planning to have real tangible goods for sale outside of just a CD he's already winning for the simple fact he "gets" it.
