Dismisses Beef With Shawty Lo, Plans Tour With Young Jeezy & Ludacris

Despite their camps coming to blows at the Dirty Awards in Atlanta last week, T.I. has chosen to dismiss his ongoing beef with fellow rapper Shawty Lo. The two Atlanta rappers have been going back and forth on records and interviews in the past year and their feud showed its uglier side at the aforementioned award show.
When Shawty Lo was performing at the event, members of T.I.'s Grand Hustle crew threw chairs on stage and sparked a brief scuffle between both camps.
T.I. and Shawty Lo would meet backstage to iron out their differences for the show to continue but another brawl occurred minutes after T.I. got his time on stage. The second scuffle, which had to be quelled by police, caused the award show to be cancelled.
"We spoke," T.I. explained to MTV News. "I don't know what that conversation meant. Shortly after we spoke ... I felt that that conversation, those words, weren't upheld. It was just a lot of nonsense. There's no place in my life for that. There was a time in my life where I wanted no more than to indulge in that kind of activity. I went around looking for it, welcoming it. Now, I just done blown way past that. There's no place in my life for it. What I told him really was, 'I'm not trippin'.'
"[After we talked] , me and my artists go out there to do our song, and there's a lot of negative feedback from right here in front of the stage," T.I. continued. "That kinda sparked some things that I, once again, cannot condone, support or entertain. So I had to separate myself from the whole situation."
"It's been over for me," T.I. said of the feud. "I'm looking way past this. I got way too much stuff that I'm involved in, that I'm looking forward to, to even be bothered with it. I wish you the best. Go do your thing. Peace unto everyone. I'm done. Like I said, it's a non-issue for me. I'm cool. I'm not trippin'. I wasn't trippin' before then, and I'm not trippin' now."
T.I. is now focused on trying to materialize a 2009 tour which will feature fellow Atlanta rappers Young Jeezy and Ludacris.
"I'm definitely down to do it," T.I. said of the tour. "Those are definitely two people who are up there when you talk about Southern performers. I'm definitely open to do it. We just gotta figure out what makes the most sense as far as getting it done.
