Phor @Phoreverim Releases Got Love Video Directed ArtCamp

Phor is back with his latest single, "Got Love." Raised on the southside of Chicago, Phor is a true artist in every sense of the word. His first big break came after graduating from Thornwood High School in the form of a sneaker designing gig with Nike. When itwas time to renew his contract with the "Just Do It" athletic brand, he declined and transitioned into the world of tattooing. Though the popular branding technique catapulted him into a household name, for Phor being able to do music full time has always been his dream. Inspired by a childhood friend, the N.M.O.L. frontman began penning songs as a teen but officially made his iTunes debut back in 2015 with Sacrifice, which was followed by Lightning Bug and Butterfly which birthed his most popular release to date "Chi-Town." An ode to the city that raised him the song went on to receive a video treatment by A Zae Production as well as a "Remix" from hometown heroes Bump J, Twista, and Lil Durk. An advocate for mental health in fall of 2018 he released "Help," the follow up to the Valee-assisted summer jam "LV," to raise awareness depression and suicide. To kick off 2019 he released Cake, a 13-cut collection of records that featured tribute track "Truly Missed," which commemorated the passing of his cousin Jade. "Got Love" is the latest single off of his project "Self Love." The single was produced by Lehday. The video, shot by Art Camp(@artcamp) and directed by Connor Townsend (@ctownsend), gives a short film vibe. "Fame is a hell of a drug and it comes with a lot of fake love and hate. Backline Musician Program Hires Cleveland Director, Announces Inaugural Program The program which also provides $20,000 grants began accepting applications CLEVELAND, OH– Backline, a free, grant-based musician accelerator program launched in Cleveland this week. Backline Cleveland will coach, connect, and provide $20,000 in grant funding to each of the four artists who are selected from a rigorous application, audition and interview process. Backline’s goal is to help emerging artists from the local community increase their chances of “breaking out,” and to further put Cleveland on the map for top musical talent. Backline was founded in Milwaukee in 2018 by 88Nine Radio Milwaukee and gener8tor and has since expanded to Detroit and now Cleveland. Backline was named one of Fast Company’s “10 Most Innovative Music Companies of 2020.” Sean Oatz (“Oatz”) has been hired by gener8tor to lead Backline Cleveland. Oatz’s deep roots in the Cleveland music scene include serving as the talent manager for Cleveland musicians Lil Cray, Dj Ky, YFL Kelvin, Luis Armando and Congrez. Oatz was also a promoter at Rumor nightclub. “Working with music industry executive and record label owner Leonard Brooks, I became a very well-rounded artist manager,” said Oatz. “The job as the Director of Backline Cleveland is a perfect fit, as it allows me to do what I already love; impact artists’ careers and help them become a breakthrough artist.” “We are thrilled to have Oatz leading the Backline Cleveland program,” said Abby Taubner, partner at gener8tor. “It’s clear that Oatz has a deep network and has gained immense respect from the music community in Cleveland, and we can’t wait for him to further support that community through the Backline program.” Backline will run one annual 12-week accelerator program in Cleveland beginning this fall. Cleveland-area artists can apply now at www.backlinemusic.com/apply. Although the process to be selected is competitive, it is also designed to be enriching. Local musicians who apply will have their music heard by national industry leaders who are tapped to help judge the applications and select the participants. Beyond working with just four artists in the program itself, Backline will also offer the broader Cleveland music community free office hours with program director Oatz, and free quarterly workshops open to the public. To kick off Backline’s engagement in Cleveland, a free, virtual “Emergency Response Program” will be made available to any creatives struggling with the effects of COVID-19. The program will last one week, and consist of three webinars aimed at understanding local resources that may be helpful at this time. One-on-one office hours will also be made available to participants. Sign up at https://www.gener8tor.com/emergency-response-program/cleveland. Backline Cleveland is funded by the City of Cleveland and The Finch Group, both of which also sponsor gener8tor’s pre-accelerator startup program gBETA in Cleveland. @YsnOurt [Video] Flock

YSN Ourt born Ourtney Bryant from Cleveland, Ohio is currently 19 years old born on August 28th, 2000. The name YSN Ourt came from being in a group before he also branched out to do his own thing. YSN stands for Young Successful Navigation. Ourt got into music because he posted a video playing around freestyling and it ended up going viral. NBA Youngboy and Toosie are his biggest influences because they are his favorite artists to listen to and they are near his age doing the same thing he wants to do. A new single was just dropped called “FLOCK” along with the music video. Jwestbeats produced the song and the video was shot by 30mproductions. It was the first time working with 30mproductions, but Ourt definitely can see another collaboration in the future. He wants his new project to be a summer west coast vibe. Also to let the people see what it’s like coming from Cleveland and really turning up to the music. His upcoming project won’t be based around the single but it will be great for listeners who enjoy partying and having fun during the summer time. Ourt firstly wants to tell his fans to be themselves and have fun. As well to always make sure to uplift others because depression and people feeling unloved is real in today’s world. ourt3.jpg YSN Ourt’s: https://www.instagram.com/ysnourt/ https://twitter.com/ysnourt https://vm.tiktok.com/J1KxTPJ www.youtube.com/ysnourt https://soundcloud.com/user-958862819 https://tinyurl.com/y8xmxvle https://music.apple.com/us/artist/ysn-ourt/1467079488
